FROM OUR FOUNDER
I'm often asked how I got started as a formulator and how I brought my vision to life.
Before ‘natural' skin care products came to be what they are today, I had spent many years working as an esthetician. Although I had access to the best-of-the-best in skin care products, I could never seem to manage my own skin struggles. I was constantly dealing with skin that was extremely sensitive, reactive and breakout prone.
I started experimenting with plant-based formulations and began to notice a drastic improvement in the overall health of my skin. Without much consideration, I quit my full time job, maxed out my credit cards, and began a three year journey of intensive study into the world of natural cosmetics formulation. From that moment on, my passion, vision, and excitement for green beauty took hold and has become deeply rooted in every part of what Om Organics is today.
